In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful,
Suddenly, by the will of Allah Almighty, and those who, when afflicted with calamity, say, 'Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed, to Him we will return.' Destiny's arrows never miss when shot. Neither changes in times nor places can prevent what must happen, and difficulties vary in times of patience and perseverance.
For we have lost our dear brother and beloved friend, who we hope Allah will forgive - Ghaleb Ali Mohammed Al-Wafi... After living 50 years, and after spending them in goodness and charity, for the sake of his homeland and his nation.
We seek Allah's mercy for him - he spent his childhood and youth doing good deeds with good manners. The community loved him - he learned the principles of good morals and ethics, which were present in the blessed school.
And we remember his life in the past four decades during which he lived with pride and humanity, moving between ups and downs... Between hardships and ease. Until he completed his military service, and played an active role with his fellow soldiers in the epic defense of June 1967, and then continued his work until 1968 through the war of attrition - until he completed his military service.
He joined the banking system where he worked for a long period, until he retired to work in private business. He then returned to serve in a modest cooperative group, where he excelled at his work. The place he worked at was reformed and developed, and it became a beautiful example which confirms the reality and success of the beautiful person, and many of them obtained personal certificates and titles.
He never sought worldly matters nor coveted social positions. He was content with what Allah had granted him, and remained on the path of righteousness and virtue!
Likewise, 'in his pursuit of the truth,' may Allah have mercy on him, his social aspect was remarkable, and he was ahead in good deeds. This led to his good reputation among people and his love of charitable work and other such matters.
And although he, may Allah have mercy on him, was destined to depart this life early, it was enough that he was buried after Asr prayer (this is a time for reform) and this was a blessed time.
Indeed, the deceased Ghaleb Ali Mohammed Al-Wafi was known to Allah to be a person of faith and piety, elevated above petty matters. He was a man who excelled in generosity and mercy, and we testify about him - and Allah knows best - that he was a believer who prayed and fasted.
May Allah have mercy on him and grant him spaciousness in his grave, and may He dwell him in his vast gardens... and forgive him and have mercy on him... and make his grave a garden from the gardens of Paradise.
Glory be to the All-Knowing, the All-Powerful who has ordained this for him.
So we can only say what pleases our Lord... and we ask Allah to grant him the highest paradise and to join us with him in His mercy... and we bear witness to his grace and ability.
